Installing a new fence or railing but hitting a solid concrete patio, driveway, or structural slab? Don't break up the entire slab with a jackhammer or rely on weak surface-mount brackets. Concrete Cutting Miami uses professional-grade Weka and Husqvarna diamond core drills to cut perfectly round, perfectly plumb holes for your aluminum, vinyl, or chain-link fence posts. We provide fast, precision drilling so your fence contractors can set posts deep into the concrete with maximum structural integrity.

Diamond Core Drills

Safety & AestheticsPatio & Pool Decks

Need to install a baby fence or safety enclosure around your pool? We specialize in core drilling through decorative pool decks, stamped concrete, and pavers. Our diamond bits cut a perfectly smooth circle without chipping, cracking, or spalling the surrounding decorative surface.

Heavy DutyDriveway Gates & Bollards

Heavy-duty driveway gates and security bollards require massive, deep anchors to withstand impact and weight. We drill oversized holes through thick, reinforced concrete driveways, allowing your installation team to sink heavy structural steel posts deep into the foundation.

High-Rise SafetyBalcony & Stair Railings

Commercial stairwells and high-rise balconies require precision-drilled anchor points for safety railings. Our rig-mounted core drills ensure that every hole is perfectly plumb (90-degrees straight down), which is essential for ensuring your railing base flanges sit completely flush and level.

Volume CoringCommercial Fencing

Installing a perimeter security fence across an existing commercial parking lot or concrete walkway? We handle high-volume core drilling. We map out the perimeter and rapidly drill dozens of uniform post holes, keeping your large-scale commercial fencing project strictly on schedule.

01

Zero Surface Cracking

Using jackhammers to break through a slab causes spider-cracking that spreads across your entire patio. Our water-cooled diamond bits grind through the concrete smoothly, preserving the structural integrity and aesthetic finish of the surrounding slab.

02

Perfectly Plumb Holes

A crooked hole means a crooked fence. We utilize heavy-duty, stand-mounted drill rigs that are leveled and bolted directly to the slab before drilling. This guarantees an absolute 90-degree vertical cut for straight, professional post installations.

03

Cuts Through Rebar

Most exterior slabs and driveways in Miami are heavily reinforced with wire mesh or steel rebar. Unlike standard masonry bits that bind and break, our industrial Weka and Husqvarna systems slice right through hidden steel without slowing down.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you install the fence posts?

No. We strictly provide the professional concrete core drilling. Once the holes are drilled and the concrete "cookie" is removed, your fence contractor or handyman will drop the posts in and pour the fast-setting anchoring cement.

How deep do you drill for fence posts?

Typically, we core completely through the 4-inch to 6-inch concrete slab to expose the dirt underneath. We then extract the solid concrete cylinder. From there, your installers can dig down into the sub-base dirt to whatever depth their posts require.

What size hole do I need for my posts?

As a rule of thumb, the core hole should be at least 2 inches wider than your actual post diameter. This allows enough room to pour the anchoring cement around the post. For example, a standard 2-inch aluminum post requires a 4-inch core hole.

Can you drill through decorative pavers or stamped concrete?

Yes. Our rotational diamond bits cut extremely cleanly. We can drill through pavers, natural stone, stamped concrete, and tile without causing the ugly chipping or spalling associated with hammer drills.

What about water and slurry cleanup?

We use a wet-drilling process to suppress dangerous silica dust and keep the diamond bits cool. We combine this with powerful wet-vacuums and containment rings to immediately extract the concrete slurry, keeping your patio, driveway, or pool deck clean.
