## When chipping concrete is the answer vs other methods

- **The volume of concrete to remove is large:** Chipping is slow and labor-intensive. For removing large areas of concrete — a full driveway, a large patio, a pool deck — saw cutting and breaking are more efficient and cost-effective.

- **Salt-damaged concrete:** In coastal Miami areas, concrete deterioration from salt exposure often extends deeper than it appears on the surface. What looks like surface scaling may have chloride contamination extending several inches into the concrete.
